Yardi Pledges $500,000 Investment in The National Apartment Association's NAA Education Institute

WASHINGTON, DC -  The National Apartment Association (NAA) is pleased to announce that Yardi has committed to an investment of $500,000 for the NAA Education Institute (NAAEI) Capital Campaign. The announcement and first installment of this investment was made October 17 at Yardi’s inaugural Executive Briefing in Santa Barbara, Calif.

Yardi has cumulatively invested $800,000 in NAAEI. It ranks second only to Equity Residential, which has provided $1,500,000 to the Institute. In 2007, Yardi made a $300,000 contribution to NAAEI.

“NAAEI’s continued commitment to education is important to the future of this industry.  It will help us improve professionalism and the quality of service provided to the multifamily industry,” said Anant Yardi, President & CEO, Yardi Systems. “We are pleased to be able to support NAAEI in this quest and pledge our continued support.”

Yardi’s investment will be recognized during the 2012 NAA Assembly of Delegates, Nov. 8-10, in Indianapolis.

NAAEI is an independent entity created by NAA whose mission is to provide broad-based education, training and recruitment programs that attract, nurture and retain quality professionals and develop tomorrow’s industry leaders.

The Institute will:
** Create awareness of apartment careers;
** Develop a comprehensive managerial development program;
** Work with NAA’s national network of affiliates to build a recruitment pipeline for the industry;
** Promote Apartment Industry Skill Standards for Leasing, Maintenance and Management careers.
