Renaissance Centro Begins Construction at $140 Million Monarch Luxury Condominium Tower in Tysons Corner Arbor Row Area

BETHESDA, MD - With a construction crane now piercing the Tysons, VA skyline, the $140 million Monarch luxury condominium tower has launched above-ground development. The project’s new General Contractor, Hoar Construction, is on schedule to deliver the 20-story structure by mid-2023.

Despite a construction hiatus in 2020, Monarch is over 30 percent presold. Purchase contracts for three units have set condominium sales price records for the Tysons market, exceeding $3.5 million each.

Monarch’s 94 residences feature more than a dozen different floorplans ranging from 880 to 4,090 square feet, and priced from the $600,000s to $4.1 million. Prospective buyers can tour a fully furnished and equipped two-bedroom-with-den model inside Monarch’s sales center at 1650 Tysons Boulevard, adjacent to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Tysons Galleria.

Designed by WDG Architecture, the iconic Monarch tower will have only two to seven residences per floor, some with direct elevator access. All units except studios will have floor-to-ceiling windows on two or three sides and expansive balconies or terraces.

Residents will enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor shared spaces for relaxing, socializing, and staying active. The lushly landscaped garden terrace will feature an inviting pool surrounded by lounge seating and grill stations. The terrace will overlook a stand of mature trees including a trail leading to Arbor Row Stream Valley Park.

An impressive residents’ lounge with comfortable seating will be located adjacent to the garden terrace, with a fireplace, book nook, bar area, and catering kitchen. A state-of-the-art fitness center will be on the same floor, and will feature high-end exercise equipment, a stretching area, spa-like locker rooms, and personalized fitness options. Topping it all off will be Monarch’s exclusive 20th floor private dining room with stunning 180-degree views of the surrounding area.

Monarch’s meticulously designed residences are distinguished by spacious living rooms, walk-in showers, large closets, luxurious bathrooms, and white oak flooring throughout. The open chef-inspired kitchens will have oversized waterfall kitchen islands, quartz countertops and full-height backsplashes, concealed-panel Miele appliances, and modern European cabinetry. Optional upgrades include natural stone selections, automated shades, heated floors, wine refrigeration, and more.

Because time is the ultimate luxury, Monarch will provide a wide range of 24-hour resident services through a white-glove personalized concierge and lobby attendant in support of stress-free living. A hospitality suite will be available for residents’ visiting guests. Dedicated covered parking and over 6,000 SF of ground-level retail space will enhance the convenience of the Monarch lifestyle.

Located at 7887 Jones Branch Drive, Monarch is part of Arbor Row, an emerging 19-acre community just one block from the Ritz-Carlton hotel, the Tysons Corner Metro station, and singular restaurants including The Palm, Founding Farmers, and Fogo de Chao. Also within a block is the Tysons Galleria shopping mall with more than 100 upscale stores, including Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. The Galleria is building out a new entertainment area featuring Bowlero bowling and an upscale multiscreen cinema with in-seat dining service and a bar.

The former site of 1970s-era office buildings, Arbor Row will soon have more than 1,400 residences and 35,000 SF of ground-level restaurants and shops making it one of the most dynamic new neighborhoods in the Washington, DC region.

Sales are exclusively managed by The Mayhood Company. The Monarch sales office, complete with its 1,950 SF model home, is located at 1650 Tysons Boulevard, suite 905.
