Interra Realty Hires Associate Michael Sessa and Marketing Coordinator Sydney Wysocki to Support Firm’s Continued Growth

CHICAGO, IL - Interra Realty, a Chicago-based commercial real estate investment services firm, today announced it has hired Michael Sessa as associate and Sydney Wysocki as marketing coordinator to support the firm’s continued growth. Despite challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Interra brokered $239.7 million in sales in 2020, a 24% increase over 2019.

“We’ve grown to become the No. 1 middle-market multifamily brokerage in Chicago by doubling down on our entrepreneurial business model and scaling up through the addition of new talent at all levels of the company,” said David Goss, co-founder and managing principal of Interra. “Just as we’re fortunate to have many long-term client relationships, we also have longevity in our team; many of our brokers and associates have spent all or the majority of their careers here. We’re excited to have Michael and Sydney join our ranks and look forward to seeing what they will accomplish.”

Sessa will work with Brad Feldman, senior managing partner. A graduate of the University of Michigan, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics and Master of Management from the Ross School of Business. During his college years, he completed internships with OCA Ventures, U.S. Bank and Colliers International. He was a walk-on for the University of Michigan football team as a freshman, became the team’s backup quarterback and was selected to the All-Academic Big Ten in 2017. Sessa, who grew up in suburban Hinsdale, is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois.

Wysocki joins Interra’s marketing team and, in her new role, will develop and produce campaigns to support brokers, with responsibility for writing, social media, graphic design and more. Previously, she was a marketing assistant with law firm Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP. Wysocki graduated from Southern Illinois University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in speech communications with a specialty in public relations and minor in journalism and advertising. Her activities in college included heading the committees for fundraising and social media for the school’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).

Interra has added brokers and associates almost every year since its inception and today has a 22-person team.
