SAN ANTONIO, TX - RightQuest Residential has broken ground on Luckey Ranch San Antonio, a 264-unit luxury apartment community located on the west side of San Antonio, TX. The development is positioned on approximately 13 acres fronting US Hwy 90 just west of Loop 1604 and is immediately adjacent to the Luckey Ranch single family master-planned community. The project will provide a Class A living experience to the booming West San Antonio submarket.
The site’s location on US Hwy 90 and close proximity to Loop 1604 provides excellent access to all parts of the city, including downtown San Antonio, as well as the employment, education, and medical hubs located along the outer loops. Amazon recently announced a 1MM-square foot fulfillment center located approximately two miles east of the development that is expected to create 1,000 full-time jobs within the next 18 months. The property is also located within a 20-minute drive to the largest employers in the MSA, including Lackland Air Force Base, USAA, Frost Bank, CitiBank, Wells Fargo and many others. The site is also located within a 20-minute drive of UTSA and a 10-minute drive to several big-box and in-line retailers and restaurants.
RightQuest began working on the project in early 2020, hiring the Allen-based architectural firm Cross Architects and the San Antonio-based civil engineering firm Macina, Bose, Copeland, and Associates, Inc. (MBC Engineers) to coordinate the design. The General Contractor for the project is Houston-based Nations Construction who has mobilized onsite. The Houston Group originated the conventional construction financing with Peyton Jones and Veritex Community Bank for the deal.
The development has several Class-A amenities and upgrades which will top any of the dozen or so ground-up multifamily developments RightQuest has completed in Texas since it began working in the region in 2007. These amenities include a resort-style clubhouse with a media center, business center, state-of-the-art fitness center, resort-style swimming pool, poolside cabana/BBQ areas, electric car charging stations, package lockers, private pet yards, community dog park, amenitized pavilion, detached garages, onsite storage facilities, covered parking, smart home technology, and several other Class A amenities. The property will offer Amazon smart home features and full AT&T Fiber services, which promises to serve the community with the fastest internet speeds available in the area. Most living spaces will include private patios/balconies, 9-foot ceilings, large walk-in closets, gourmet kitchens, washers/dryers, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. Rents range from $1,075 to $1,449 per month for efficiency, one, and two-bedroom units. The first units will be available for occupancy in the spring of 2022.
