WPD Management Launches WPD Cares Website to Encourage Nonprofits and Community Groups to Request Volunteers

CHICAGO, IL - Following the launch of WPD Cares in January, WPD Management, a property management company operating throughout the south side of Chicago, encourages nonprofits and community groups looking for volunteers to apply for support on the new WPD Cares page on the company’s website. WPD Cares is an initiative that gives back to residents, communities served, and employees.

Communities Served

WPD Management manages a portfolio of 300 apartment buildings in neighborhoods throughout the south side of Chicago.

“Throughout the years, we’ve always given back to the community. It was important for us to be more strategic about our donations and volunteer efforts, which is why we added a page dedicated to WPD Cares to our website,” said Patrick Ryan, COO.

Nonprofit organizations and other entities doing work throughout the south side of Chicago are encouraged to submit their volunteer requests at www.wpdmanagement.com/wpd-cares

“We want to become more familiar with organizations doing impactful work and hope that these inbound requests will introduce us to even more people doing great things,” said Ryan. “We are very proud to have made a sizable donation to My Block My City My Hood last summer and look forward to giving back, even more, this year.”

Employees

WPD Management currently employs more than 80 people working in various roles from Property Manager to Maintenance Technician. As the company has grown over the last decade, employee benefits have evolved to meet the market and the company’s core values. A perk reflective of the WPD Cares initiative is offering each employee two paid volunteer days and providing senior employees the ability to participate in a Leadership Training program.

“We are very proud that 16 of our team members completed a leadership training program last year. As we continue to promote from within, it is important for us to continue to invest in our team,” said Ryan.
