SIOUX FALLS, SD - Renter Nation, the country’s only website by, for and about America’s more than 100 million residential renters and the nation’s leading advocate for the renting lifestyle, is pleased to announce that they have entered into a service affiliation agreement with Phoenix, Arizona based Step-By-Step Transitional Living, a 501(c)3 charitable organization.
Step-By-Step is a nine year old private social service agency operating as My 2nd Chance Rental. Its mission is to provide “safe, secure and affordable housing” to people and families with credit or legal issues that prevents them from obtaining housing through more traditional means.
In announcing the alliance, Renter Nation’s founder and CEO Bill Deegan said that “Step-By-Step serves a vital public need in Phoenix, and soon throughout the country, by making the most basic of human requirements – housing – available to people who need it.” Step-By-Step’s chairman Les Boynton also lauded his group’s affiliation with Renter Nation. “As we begin to expand our program in Arizona and introduce it into other areas of the country, we are looking forward to having Renter Nation provide us the marketplace visibility and internet platform we will need to get the word out. We are very pleased to be associated with them.”
Step-By-Step, founded in 2003, has successfully provided housing to more than 22,000 families. The group works through rental affiliations with more than 70 apartment communities throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Step-By-Step’s plan is to introduce their program into other markets. “The need is there. Step-By-Step offers the solution,” Mr. Boynton added.
