Isis Spinola-Schwartz Joins Forge Development Partners Executive Staff as Chief Development Officer to Oversee Its Housing Projects

OAKLAND, CA - Forge Development Partners (Forge) has hired Isis Spinola-Schwartz as its Chief Development Officer as part of Forge’s efforts to attract the brightest minds to help forge its impact on future essential middle-income housing. A global thought-leader in bringing innovative and sustainable solutions to the urban environment, Spinola-Schwartz will oversee a varied portfolio of essential housing developments in San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles, California shepherding them from design and planning to construction and occupancy.

“I am proud to welcome Isis to our team,” said Forge Founder Richard Hannum. “She brings a wealth of experience and an extensive network in the real estate, urban planning and sustainable design fields that I know will prove invaluable as we develop our model for high-tech, high-quality, sustainable housing that is at an accessible price point for the middle income worker.”

Spinola-Schwartz has more than fifteen years of experience in real estate development, land use planning, and project and development management. Prior to joining Forge Development Partners, she worked for The Reliant Group managing the planning and construction of affordable housing projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

In addition to her development experience, Spinola-Schwartz sits on the Katerva Cities and Mobility Impact Panel – which helps evaluate and accelerate disruptive sustainable innovations to create a pollution-free society – and earlier in her career worked for the United Nation’s Sustainable Urban Planning Offices. She is confident that her passion for sustainability will help Forge create developments that reduce carbon and energy grid usage while lower operating costs to allow units to remain within reach for today’s middle-income workforce.

“I am excited about working for Forge Development Partners because the company is spearheading visionary solutions to today’s urban living. The development of workforce housing that is sustainable and accessible is not only critical, it should also become the norm in today’s world. I look forward to working with this dynamic team and its partners to bring the projects currently on the board and many others to San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles, among other cities in California,” said Spinola-Schwartz.
