The Oregonian Names Sequoia Equities Winner of the Oregon Top Workplaces 2020 Award for The Fourth Consecutive Year

WALNUT CREEK, CA - Sequoia has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2020 honor by The Oregonian for the fourth consecutive year. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 drivers of engaged cultures that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

“In times of great change, it is more important than ever to maintain a connection among employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “When you give your employees a voice, you come together to navigate challenges and shape your path forward based on real-time insights into what works best for your organization. The Top Workplaces program can be that positive outcome your company can rally around in the coming months to celebrate leadership and the importance of maintaining an employee-focused culture, even during challenging times.”

“To know that our team members feel valued, heard, and respected is the highest honor. Those voices not only help shape our organization for today but build on a lasting one for the future,” said Rita Crawford, Sr. Regional Portfolio Manager at Sequoia. “With that also comes the responsibility to maintain a welcoming and safe environment for those very team members to share areas of improvement. Being named a Top Workplaces provides an opportunity for us to do just that, to dig in and find ways to become a stronger company for those that choose us year after year.“

Sequoia was honored along with 44 other small employers, each with 35 to 99 employees in Oregon and/or southwest Washington, on September 23 for a virtual awards ceremony. Overall, Sequoia was ranked fourth amongst small employers for 2020.
