TLC Properties Bringing New 150-Unit Active Lifestyle Apartment Community to Growing Southwest Missouri Market

SPRINGFIELD, MO - A Springfield, Missouri based property management company, TLC Properties, is bringing new apartments to Joplin, Missouri. The company’s regional expansion will include over 150 apartments in a 55+ apartment community.

“As the fifth-largest geographical area in Missouri, TLC Properties anticipates an increased demand for housing in this region of Southwest Missouri,” explains Dan Coryell, Managing Broker Associate for TLC Realty. “Joplin is a thriving community that continues to attract new business growth, university students, and retirees.”

TLC Properties purchased an 8.62-acre piece of land conveniently located near Mercy Hospital Joplin at the northeast corner of 44th and Connecticut Street to develop the senior-focused community of 151 apartments.  The new apartment community will feature amenities tailored to adults 55 or older, providing resort-style accommodations like a lap pool, clubhouse, and dog park.  Predevelopment planning is underway and is scheduled to break ground summer 2020, with an anticipated completion date of spring 2022.

The community will offer studio, one, two, and three-bedroom apartments with modern finishes and accommodating premium amenities. Pre-leasing is expected to start late summer or early fall 2021.
