Logan Apartments in Chicago’s Logan Square Neighborhood Now Leasing for March Move-ins

CHICAGO, IL - Chicago-based developer Fifield Cos., in partnership with Terraco Real Estate, has announced it is now leasing residences at Logan Apartments in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood. Fifield has also completed two model units at the new-construction, mixed-use, transit-oriented building. Logan Apartments features 220 apartments along with 62,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, including a 27,000-square-foot Target store. The building welcomes its first residents this month.

“As Logan Apartments has taken shape, excitement has been building for what this new development is bringing to the neighborhood,” said Jon Schneider, senior vice president at Fifield Cos. “Now prospective residents can see first-hand the kind of upscale apartments that will be available in a highly-amenitized building that not only fits well into its surroundings from an aesthetic standpoint, but also through the community-oriented retail we have secured.”

Located at 2480 - 2522 N. Milwaukee Ave., Logan Apartments connects two buildings, five and six stories tall, with a skybridge and includes a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments averaging 800 square feet.  The one-bedroom and two-bedroom models showcase the features offered in all the apartments, including floor-to-ceiling windows with roller shades, plank flooring and ceiling heights of at least nine feet; quartz countertops, glass tile backsplashes and stainless steel appliances in the open plan kitchens; and in-unit washers and dryers. The two-bedroom model includes a moveable island, which is available in some units. Select apartments include terraces.

Outdoor amenities at Logan Apartments include a landscaped sun terrace with a pool, shade cabanas, grilling stations, dog run, fire pit and private seating areas. Indoor amenities feature a fitness club with state-of-the-art equipment, resident lounge, party room, coffee bar, conference center and dedicated coworking space. Because of its location along the Milwaukee bike corridor, dubbed Chicago’s “Hipster Highway,” Logan Apartments will also offer more than 188 spaces for bike parking and a bike storage room with a bike “kitchen” for maintenance and repairs.

Amenity and unit interiors designed by Chicago-based Brianne Bishop Design are inspired by the history of the neighborhood and include a variety of local touches in the common spaces. Photography of the graffiti from the building previously on the site, the Mega Mall, will be hung throughout the building, along with works from neighborhood and Chicago artists. One of the lobbies will feature a coffee table designed by local artist Cleveland Dean and made from reclaimed pieces of the Mega Mall, and the amenity spaces will incorporate several antiques sourced from neighborhood collectors. In the coworking space, a historic oversized map of Logan Square will cover one of the walls.

“Having worked with Fifield Cos. on several projects, I know how important it is to them for their buildings to have a connection to the neighborhoods where they are located,” said Brianne Jones, founder of Brianne Bishop Design. “In addition to the materials, art and found objects we are using at Logan Apartments, we were able to source custom pieces from Logan Square-based companies like Relativity Textiles and Hang Out Lighting to make their mark on the building’s interiors.”

Logan Apartments offers 110 parking spaces, with 28 spaces designated for use by Target guests. A separate parking lot accommodates more than 40 vehicles.

Steps from popular restaurants, nightlife and shopping, Logan Apartments will put residents at the center of one of Chicago’s most thriving neighborhoods. Convenient access to downtown and neighboring communities like Bucktown, Wicker Park and River West is steps away via the Milwaukee bike corridor and the CTA Logan Square Blue Line station, located two blocks from the building.

Designed by Chicago-based architecture firm Antunovich Associates, the building is being constructed by Focus Construction.
