Multifamily Leadership Launches Industry-First Women's Summit and Empowerment Platform

SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Multifamily Leadership, producers of the Best Places to Work Multifamily Program, the Multifamily Leadership Summit, and the Multifamily Leadership Podcast, is excited to announce the inaugural Multifamily Women’s Summit. Entering its fifth successful year, the Multifamily Leadership Summit is expanding its efforts to unchartered territory, offering an educational event that focuses exclusively on women in the multifamily housing industry. The summit takes place on March 20-21, 2019 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The Multifamily Women’s Summit will feature important, relevant discussions conducted by leading experts of various fields, which will allow women to strengthen their professional network, expertise, and influence. The summit will also cater to men who want to better understand the vital role women play as executives, associates, and team members. Co-Founders of the Multifamily Leadership Women’s Summit, Patrick and Carrie Antrim, have a vision to create a bigger and better future for women within the multifamily housing industry, and it begins with this inclusive summit.

As Carrie Antrim explains, “The ultimate goal of the Multifamily Women’s Summit is to host a space where women can share and incubate ideas with their fellow industry partners — all on an even playing field. As with the annual Multifamily Leadership Summit, the Multifamily Women’s Summit will offer a new model for industry professionals to transform their career with a thought-based platform, which encourages innovation and brainstorming of ideas to solve challenges women face in the workplace today. It will be an unprecedented space within the multifamily industry due to its focus on women and their ingenuity.”

This new event is part of a bigger plan to advance women’s leadership throughout every aspect of the industry with the end-goal of sharing expert content through print-based materials, social media, and even a special segment on the current Multifamily Leadership Podcast. With the popularity of mobile reaching an all-time high, the podcast aims to reach hardworking, on-the-go industry leaders who are looking to take the multifamily industry to new heights.

Patrick Antrim added, "Looking back at our Best Places to Work Multifamily program, it is evident these forward-thinking brands already understand the crucial role they play within their communities and workplaces. I am inspired by what these companies are doing to create healthy organizations that everyone wants to be a part of, and we can only hope to continue their progress by hosting this much-needed summit."

Attendees of the Multifamily Women’s Summit will participate in discussions that will elevate women and their role within the industry, while showcasing how they will continue to shape the future of the business itself.
