NASHVILLE, TN - An affiliate of The Beach Company, of Charleston, SC announces the acquisition of 44 acres in the Bellevue neighborhood of Nashville, Tennessee.
The property is located on the Cumberland River at Charlotte Pike and Cabot Drive, near the intersection of US Highway 70 and I-40, one of the major arteries into downtown from the west and south.
According to Beach Company Development Manager Ned Miller, “The property is elevated on a bluff along the Cumberland River. Across the river from the site is Bells Bend Park, a rural preserve with farmland and nature trails. The river and pastureland views make this a highly desirable place to live, and it is only 15 minutes to downtown Nashville.”
Future plans for the site call for a 400-unit multifamily rental community. Southeast Venture of Nashville is providing the architecture and interior design services for the project. The architectural plan will maximize the views of the Cumberland River and Bells Bend preserve. The property is also adjacent to Brookmeade Park and Greenway.
A complete amenity package for residents will include a riverfront clubroom and pool, a commercial quality fitness center, a pet park, and nature trails. Construction is expected to begin in early 2016.
The Cabot Drive property is between Nashville West shopping center with Target, Costco, and Publix to the east, and Lowes and WalMart to the west.
Tarek El Gammal, Ashley Bishop, and JC Darby of Southeast Venture in Nashville represented both the buyer, a Beach Company affiliate, and the seller, CGM Partners, in the sales transaction.
