DURHAM, NC - Crescent Communities has opened Crescent Ninth Street, a 303-unit, luxury apartment community built to reflect the history and charm of Durham's eclectic Ninth Street district. Located just steps from the new Harris Teeter, Duke Medical Center and more than 50 restaurants and shops, Crescent Ninth Street puts residents in the center of it all.
"Crescent Ninth Street residents will enjoy the best in luxury living in a community that's as unique as the people and places around it," said Ben Collins, vice president with Crescent's multifamily group. "We are fortunate to join the extraordinary Ninth Street district, and we are excited to welcome our first residents."
Located on Ninth Street between Erwin Square and the Erwin Mill Building, Crescent Ninth Street features three distinct building types designed to blend seamlessly with the district's existing features.
Amenities include a resort-style saltwater pool plaza, grilling stations surrounded by ample lounging areas, athletic club, state-of-the-art media room and business center, demonstration kitchen, bark park with dog spa and bike repair room.
The one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments feature granite countertops, hardwood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, designer lighting and spacious walk-in closets.
Designed to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification, Crescent Ninth Street incorporates sustainable building practices that are healthy for residents and good for the environment.
