Embrey Partners and Stonelake Capital Partners Bring Upscale Living to Northwest Houston, Texas

HOUSTON, TX - San Antonio-based Embrey Partners, Ltd., and Stonelake Capital Partners, LLC, have opened a four-story, luxury, multi-family rental community at the southwest corner of Highway 249 and Cypresswood Drive in northwest Houston. The project consists of 336 high-end units on 15.42 acres.

Highpoint at Cypresswood is an urban contemporary, surface-parked project consisting of two, four-story buildings with six elevators. Rents on the one- and two-bedroom units, which range in size from 574 to 1,188 square feet, start at $900 per month. “Our goal is to provide a community that you would typically find inside the Loop minus the parking garage,” says John Kirk, executive vice president of development for Embrey and the developer in charge of the project.

With great visibility on at a prominent intersection in a growing employment center with Vintage Park Shopping Village nearby, Highpoint fits the unique site that Embrey seeks out for its properties “We’ve really found a special place here,” says John Kiltz, of Stonelake Capital Partners. “We’ve developed an urban feel, nestled near beautiful natural areas, including three parks, a trail and a nature preserve – all within walking distance. Highpoint provides a contemporary urban lifestyle with all the benefits of suburban living.”

Contemporary, high-end accessories and furnishings, along with efficient, open floor plans and a 6,500-square-foot clubhouse with 18-foot-high ceilings, create an elevated living style designed around young professionals. Vibrant green space and natural courtyards with covered seating areas to congregate and socialize are a deliberate effort to establish an abiding sense of community and relaxation. A sparkling community pool features a stunning infinity edge. Around it are several cabanas, six grilling areas, a dog park with a dedicated wash station, a shaded bike station where residents can work on their cycles and a wildflower garden. The Hideaway– an extension of the clubhouse – provides a party-ready, air-conditioned space with televisions, tables, couches and gaming area that is connected to the oversized covered porch that features an outdoor pool table-television-lounge area. An expansive fitness room that overlooks the pool includes the latest workout equipment including a TRX training station.
