Rainmaker to Lead Revenue Management Session

Rainmaker to Lead Revenue Management Session

ATLANTA, GA - The Rainmaker Group, the leading provider of revenue management and profit optimization solutions to the multifamily housing and gaming/hospitality industries, announces an upcoming session titled “Revenue Management Move Beyond the System: Instill Confidence in Leasing Staff” to be held at the June 2012 National Apartment Association (NAA) Education Conference and Exposition in Boston June 28-30th. The session will be led by Annie Laurie McCulloh, vice president of business consulting for Rainmaker LRO™, and will feature other revenue management experts including Blerim Zeqiri, director of revenue and research for Alliance Residential Company, and Michelle Dabroski, pricing manager for Lincoln Property Company.

“The NAA Education Conference is one of the leading events for the multifamily industry and it is exciting to lead a session to further educate our colleagues on the importance of revenue management at all levels of a company,” said McCulloh. “Often times, revenue management is viewed as a ‘higher level’ operation in an organization, yet this session will demonstrate the invaluable role of on-site leasing staff, regional managers, and district managers in the pricing process and highlight how their involvement is vital to the success of a portfolio’s revenue management strategy.”

During the session on Thursday, June 28th from 9:00a.m – 10:30a.m. EDT, McCulloh, Zeqiri, and Dabroski will delve into the notion that pricing strategies through revenue management software is not and cannot be a set-it and forget-it process. Panelists will detail how revenue management is an ongoing operation requiring consistent monitoring, adjustment and buy-in from all of those involved – including executives, managers and most important, on-site staff. Attendees will gain insights into implementation and training best practices and how to develop ongoing communication strategies to reduce on-staff hesitancy and increase confidence in the new pricing structure.
