Dinerstein Sells 442-Bed Student Housing Community

HOUSTON, TX -  Sterling University Housing, the student housing division of The Dinerstein Companies, announced today that M&A Real Estate Partners of Los Angeles, California, has purchased Sterling McMillan, their 122-unit, 442-bed student housing community in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sterling McMillan was 95% occupied at closing. CB Richard Ellis' National Student Housing Group represented the parties in the transaction and the property was purchased for an undisclosed amount.

Acquired by Sterling University Housing in 2009, under the name McMillan Manor, Sterling McMillan's amenities include a resort-style pool, cyber cafe, fitness center, tanning salon and study lounge. Student apartments are fully furnished and features upscale amenities, individually locked bedroom suites, dual basin bathrooms, kitchen with breakfast bar; and all are utilities included.

The Dinerstein Companies was established in 1955, a Houston-based, family owned and operated company that has built and operated apartment communities in twenty-seven different states. The company currently employs in excess of 400 employees.
