Aimco Employees Helping Local Communities
DENVER, CO - Hundreds of Apartment Investment and Management Company (Aimco) employees are volunteering to address critical needs in their communities as part of the national Aimco Cares Community Service Day on Wednesday, May 18.

The wide range of Aimco Service Day projects includes maintenance projects at the zoos in Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee; serving lunch to children at His House Children's Home in Orlando, Florida; outdoor clean-up at the Ronald McDonald House in Providence, Rhode Island; packing donations for distribution by the St. Mary's Food Bank in Phoenix, Arizona; building trails for the Denver City Parks and Recreation Department in Colorado; hosting a Senior Housing and Services Fair in Gadsden, Alabama; and conducting food and clothing donation drives in cities across the country.

The annual national community service days are hallmark events of the company's philanthropic program, Aimco Cares. Through Aimco Cares, each employee is given 10 paid hours annually to apply toward a volunteer activity.
