WASHINGTON, DC - TDY Stay is merging with Sierra Vista-based TDY House to increase corporate housing units and furnished apartments in Arizona. Both companies cater to military and government travelers assigned to the Army post at Fort Huachuca, AZ.
The merger between TDY Stay and TDY House will combine all furnished properties within their apartment and housing inventory and allow for the addition of new properties. TDY Stay will manage the online TDY housing and apartment reservation process for all travelers and will oversee the addition of all new corporate lodging contracts.
TDY Stay's website features an online reservation system for furnished apartments and TDY housing in Sierra Vista for travel to Fort Huachuca. With thousands of annual travelers to Fort Huachuca and a shortage of temporary housing, TDY Stay anticipates being able to place a high volume of these TDY travelers into housing and furnished apartments at or below the per diem lodging rate.
TDY Stay began listing furnished housing through the TDY Lodging reservation platform for nationwide government and military travel, which nearly doubled reservations since marketing through the DoD lodging portal began late last year. The merger between TDY Stay and TDY House is expected to allow the two companies to add additional properties for government and military travelers in need of Fort Huachuca TDY lodging in Sierra Vista.
