Rainmaker Releases LRO Upgrade

Rainmaker Releases LRO Upgrade
ATLANTA, GA - The Rainmaker Group, the world leader in automated revenue management software and services to the multifamily housing industry, today announced the release of its LRO™ Portal enhancement for the company's multifamily revenue optimization system. LRO's new Portal functionality provides operators with data visualization into performance metrics for an entire multi-property portfolio as well as for individual communities. The LRO Portal creates secure role-based, custom views for corporate executives, community managers, field personnel, and other users within an organization.

LRO™ is the leading multifamily lease rate optimization solution used to maximize revenue from apartment leases. Rainmaker's LRO system produces optimized pricing recommendations for a large variety of unit types based on hundreds of factors that influence rate setting, including traffic and lease duration, move-in dates, competitive influences and other metrics. The system also produces enterprise-wide demand forecasts by measuring and analyzing historical and current market metrics and performing calculations necessary for occupancy predictions that are dynamically updated as market conditions change.

View performance metrics for an entire portfolio:
"Our operations team is impressed with the visibility LRO Portal delivers into the performance metrics across our entire portfolio," said Felisha Miller, revenue manager of Sagebrush Capital Management, one of the multifamily companies involved in pre-launch evaluation of the LRO Portal

LRO Portal delivers clear data visibility:
The new LRO Portal provides a common entry point for LRO users and delivers data visualization and online functionality that includes: LRO dashboard with data drill down and quick views of performance metrics. LRO product information and support. Online training for greater staff productivity. A password protected user-community page for Q/A among customer teams to communicate best practices.

Drill down to property performance, rates, and competitive comparisons:
Bruce Barfield, president of The Rainmaker Group, said, "The LRO dashboard enables operators to manage by the numbers more easily. The system provides greater capability to access and understand performance data using drill-down functionality to identify best practices and areas for improvement both at the individual property level and across all their communities." Executives can use LRO to compare recommended vs. actual lease rates at a community by clicking on a cell and review the factors on which rates were based. All LRO dashboard output is Excel-exportable, so users can download data to their own desktop spreadsheets for instant what-if analysis.

The framework for the LRO Portal is developed in the Microsoft Business Intelligence Framework and uses SQL Reporting Services for data presentation. The system converts data from the LRO operational database to a datamart where it creates daily performance cubes for an entire portfolio of properties. The new version expands current LRO functionality and is fully compatible with the most widely used Property Management Systems such as Yardi, MRI, and AMSI.

The Rainmaker Group is a software and services company that provides the LRO profit optimization solution that enables multifamily housing operators to maximize revenue from apartment leases. LRO is used by more than 60 percent of the companies deploying revenue management systems in the industry and, uniquely, LRO's lease/rent revenue optimization success has been verified by independent third party consulting firms. For more than nine years LRO has delivered optimized leasing rates to the largest operators in the industry including Archstone, Equity Residential, Post Properties, Laramar Group, Home Properties, Simpson Housing, Mid-America Apartment Communities, Carmel Partners and other leading multifamily housing companies.
