Village at Leesburg Set to Open LEESBURG, VA - The Metropolitan at Village at Leesburg, the only apartment community in the new Village at Leesburg town center, will host a grand opening of its Metropolitan Club, the one-of-a-kind residents wi-fi enhanced club house, on Saturday, March 20 from noon until 4 p.m., according to Karen A. Kossow, vice president of sales and marketing, Kettler, Inc., developer and property manager of the 335 Class "A" apartment homes. Road Soda will be special musical guest performers at the Metropolitan grand opening.

The Metropolitan Club, located in the heart of the apartment community and open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, offers residents a beautiful and comfortable setting to enjoy a variety of activities and amenities including a stylish lounge, a large game room with billiards and shuffleboard, state-of-the-art business center and a sports club outfitted with Matrix Fitness System equipment.

A highlight of the club house is the hi-definition screening room with plush seating and surround sound, ideal for enjoying movies as well as television, sports and other programming.

"During the upcoming warm weather months, our residents will be enjoying the large outdoor swimming pool and the expansive sundeck and private cabanas with intimate seating, all immediately accessible from the club house. Residents will also be able to enjoy the outdoor grill area," said Kossow.

The Metropolitan, situated in the heart of Village at Leesburg offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans, featuring nine-foot ceilings, designer kitchens with GE® appliances, granite countertops and maple cabinetry, full-size washer and dryer, FiOS Internet, phone and television connections.

Options include kitchens with chef's islands and built-in pantries, 11' foot ceilings available in some apartment homes as well as computer nooks and built-in desks and private balconies, terraces and patios with village or pool views.

Additionally, the apartment community welcomes pets, including large dogs, and offers residents the option of apartment homes located in a totally smoke-free environment.

Village at Leesburg offers more than 500,000 square feet of shopping, restaurant, and entertainment options including King Pinz and Potomac River Running, opening this spring. Wegman's Food Markets, Inc., one of the anchor stores, has been open for several months. Village at Leesburg also offers 150,000 square feet of office product.

Kettler and a Cypress Equities company* are developing Village at Leesburg. The Carlyle Group is the lead equity partner. KLNB Retail is handling the leasing of the retail sections while Sperry Van Ness/Vaaler Real Estate is handling the office leasing and Winward Commercial the office condos sales.

Village at Leesburg encompasses 150 acres and combines traditional planning and design characteristics - including an open-air shopping center component - with an upscale urban feel. Luxury multifamily residences will complement the office and retail uses.

More than 125,000 consumers reside within a five-mile radius of the project with an average household income exceeding $120,000 and growing daytime population totals more than 35,000 today. The project will be accessed by the new interchange bridging VA Route 7 and Crosstrail Boulevard.
