Rainmaker, AMSI Launch Interface
ATLANTA, GA - The Rainmaker Group, a leader in automated revenue management software and services to the multifamily housing industry for total property profitability, announced the release of an interface between its widely installed LRO revenue management system and AMSI's eSite property management system. The availability of this interface allows the opportunity for simplified optimized lease rate pricing across AMSI's installed base of 13,000 communities. Today, Rainmaker's LRO system is optimizing revenues for over half a million multifamily housing units and delivering rent lifts of 3 to 5 percent for many of the largest companies and REITs.

"The new interface enables AMSI's user-base of over a million units to more easily optimize rates and revenue by automating the LRO rate optimization solution," said Tammy Farley, principal of The Rainmaker Group. "The new AMSI interface extends LRO's availability to multifamily operators from three to 300 communities as well as to the largest REITS."

The new interface enables LRO to provide optimized rent and lease terms to eSite users through a Web service exchange of community and market data between the two systems. LRO analyzes hundreds of variables that influence price, demand, and supply. LRO leverages complex statistics and mathematics and produces straightforward business actions for community managers.

"Improving the bottom line is the ultimate measure of success when adopting new technology, and that is precisely what the new interface will deliver to us as a result of our partnership with The Rainmaker Group," said George Landgrebe, AMSI's General Manager. "With LRO interfaced to eSite, AMSI customers can now leverage daily analysis of spending trends in their markets to maximize the profitability of each leasing day and every lease they close."

Two AMSI customers are currently utilizing the interface and other installations are scheduled in the coming months. The next phase of the interface, including the ability to view lease-rate suggestions directly within eSite, is currently under development.

The LRO system develops optimized pricing recommendations for dozens of unit types based on hundreds of factors that influence rate setting, including: Competitive influences and historical demand. Current and historical lease activity. Traffic, lease duration. Move-in dates and other metrics.

The system also produces enterprise-wide demand forecasts by measuring and analyzing a large number of historical and current market metrics and performing calculations necessary for occupancy predictions across dozens of unit types, offering dynamically updated rate recommendations as market conditions change.
