LaSalle Group Breaks in Texas
DALLAS, TX - Continuing its mission to provide aging adults with quality living and care needs through the company's leading Alzheimer's and memory care communities, Dallas-based real estate developer, The LaSalle Group, Inc., announced today the ground breaking of another property in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. Growing its Autumn Leaves® brand of assisted living residences, Autumn Leaves of Denton will be the eighth property developed by LaSalle in North Texas, following the seven Autumn Leaves communities already operating successfully, including: Arlington, Carrollton, Flower Mound, Fossil Creek, Grapevine, McKinney and Richardson / North Garland.

The ground breaking of Autumn Leaves of Denton, which is scheduled for Friday, August 21, 2009, will take place at 2505 Brinker Road Denton, Texas, 76208. Initial construction on the new residence is already underway and is scheduled to be completed by February 2010. Plans are in place for the facility to open its doors in March 2010, and the property will feature 38 units and accommodate approximately 50 residents.

"Despite these difficult economic times, we have been fortunate to see only continued success and growth, enabling us to stay focused on our goal of expanding the Autumn Leaves brand and providing quality care to aging adults," said Mitchell Warren, president of LaSalle. "Our partners and investors alike recognize the increasing need for these types of services catered to the senior population, especially as Alzheimer's continues to grow at a rapid pace."

Maintaining the values and expertise of its family-owned and operated business model, Lake Superior Contracting, LaSalle's in-house, full-service construction division, will coordinate and manage the design and construction of the new property. Leveraging a long-standing work history with LaSalle, Lake Superior Contracting will ensure the distinctive and research-based structural design attributed to all of LaSalle's properties is in place. Similarly, affiliate Constant Care Management Company will skillfully manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of Autumn Leaves of Denton, as it does for all of LaSalle's facilities.

In addition to Autumn Leaves of Denton, LaSalle is set to open another facility in Fort Worth by early 2010, as well as break into the Houston market with its first property scheduled to open in mid-2010. There are also three Autumn Leaves communities located throughout the greater Chicago area with plans underway to develop more in the future.

Family-owned and operated, The LaSalle Group (with its subsidiaries and affiliates) develops, builds and manages specialized assisted living residences for people with Alzheimer's and other forms of memory impairment, as well as other specialized real estate properties throughout the United States.
