Circle at South End Opens
CHARLOTTE, NC - Crescent Resources Multifamily Development Group has opened Circle at South End, a community that is committed to the environment and promotes healthy, fun living in Charlotte's historic South End neighborhood. It is the first 100-percent smoke-free community in Charlotte.

Circle at South End embodies Crescent's innovative approach to apartment living, offering residents the opportunity to live in upscale, environmentally friendly communities focused on enriching their social experiences. This community, and all Circle communities, is 100 percent smoke-free to promote clean air in residential areas and common spaces. Circle communities offer unique programming - from volunteering to pet happy hours - aimed at fostering a sense of community among residents.

"With Circle at South End, Crescent is poised to meet the needs of today's modern apartment residents by building a sense of community and doing something good for the environment," said Todd Farrell, president of Crescent Resources Multifamily Development Group. "Residents have easy access to uptown Charlotte on the light rail and can enjoy walking to nearby shops and restaurants."

Crescent Resources is pursuing Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification for Circle at South End. The community utilizes water-efficient landscaping, water-conserving fixtures, energy-efficient appliances, recycled building materials and more green features.

Circle at South End - at the intersection of South Boulevard and Bland Street - has 360 apartments in one-, two- and three-bedroom designs as well as studios. Homes feature custom-designed cabinets and sinks, stainless steel appliances and private patios. The Resident Lounge is set up for various activities, including billiards, video games, movies, cooking in the gourmet kitchen and more. Residents have access to courtesy bicycles and poolside grilling stations. Visit Circle at South End at 222 E. Bland St.

Circle at Concord Mills opened in April. Two more Circle communities opened earlier this year in Jacksonville, Fla., and Tampa, Fla.

Circle was inspired through extensive review and analysis of current industry trends and marketplace needs. The progressive Circle communities are places where neighbors connect and become stewards of the larger community. In addition to presenting a new breed of apartments that people are excited to live in, Circle developments are infused with the exceptional quality and customer-oriented features that have become Crescent hallmarks.
