Gravity Granted Approval to Go Vertical in UK

New Story
Time and Tide has been granted permission for an £82m project to go ahead in Manchester's Eastern Gateway. The 35-storey urban park aims to kick start the regeneration of the city's North Eastern fringe area. Managing director, John Asplin said:

“Time & Tide has a proven track record for using intelligent design and quality specification to create successful regeneration projects. After being involved in developing in Manchester for many years, and as active members of the Piccadilly Partnership, we know the Store Street-Ancoats location has massive potential.”

‘Gravity’ will combine 373 one and two bedroom apartments. Interiors have been designed around a loft-living concept, creating expansive open plan living, kitchen and dining areas, with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms leading off. Penthouse apartments have the added bonus of a third bedroom. As well as living space, there will be 17,500sq ft of office & retail space with discussions in place for space for coffee shop operators. There are also plans for 3/4 acre of public parkland. The urban park planned for Gravity will be visible, accessible and open for use by residents and public alike.
