For those that are wondering what we are doing over here – just take a look around. We are officially out of beta and now into our Version-2 of what we like to think is the greatest free show on earth!

We tweaked the look, cleaned up the navigation and did an "add, edit and delete" on some features that were either working or not. We took a lot of user feedback into consideration and cleaned up the member interface to create a simple roadmap to what a member can post. We also opened up the blogging platform for any member to use, in the beta version you had to request permission to start a blog. Somebody sent us an email that said it was better to ask for forgiveness than permission. Tried that on a traffic ticket once, still paying on the fine! However, unlike that dude with the hammer wearing a black robe, we tend to agree. So open it is!

We started this rebuild in May 2008, so the journey to where we are today seems like a long time. The deal is we are not done yet. Like all things Internet, we find things and come up with ideas as we build, so we still have a few things to add into this monster. One thing we certainly want to do, and will, is give a member the ability to upload property photos into the Marketplace. Since you can post property for sale, lease or wanted – we want to become another channel for brokers, developers and apartment communities to create a deep listing of their property. We also built RSS Feeds and Widgets to push these listing across the Internet. We are working on a few other content syndication channels – but more on that later.

Now back to that stimulus package we are working on……
