FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — Franklin Street, a full-service commercial real estate firm, announced today that Joe Rubin has joined the company’s Multifamily Investment Sales division as director. In this role, Mr. Rubin will specialize in the sale of multifamily properties throughout South Florida and the Treasure Coast. He will work in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office alongside Greg Matus, senior vice president of investment sales. Mr. Rubin brings over a decade of experience in investment sales, business development and relationship management across the southeast.
Prior to Franklin Street, Mr. Rubin served as director of acquisitions for American Landmark Apartments, one of the fastest growing multifamily apartment property owners in the nation having closed transactions valued at over $2.5 billion. He also held commercial real estate investment sales roles with Ocwen Financial Corporation and Marcus & Millichap, completing transactions that totaled over 25,000 units during his career.

Mr. Rubin received his Master of Science degree in Real Estate and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Florida. He earned the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation and is a licensed real estate salesperson in Florida.
