Christina Sells Iconic El Palacio Apartment Building in West Hollywood's Vibrant Sunset Strip Neighborhood for $15.75 Million

MALIBU, CA - Christina, a vertically integrated real estate investment sponsor and manager, has announced the sale of the iconic El Palacio building located at 8491-8499 Fountain Avenue in West Hollywood for $15,750,000. Acquired in 2014 for $7.9 million, Christina engaged Peyton Hall FAIA of Historic Resources Group to preserve and honor the integrity of the famed building, which was developed by renowned architect William R. Hauptman in 1931. Upon completion, Hauptman formally dedicated El Palacio to the President of Spain.

Comprised of 18 residences – including three two-story townhomes – the building features a beautiful courtyard, fountains, decorative molding, lush landscaping and secured subterranean parking. Residence features include custom kitchen cabinets, stainless steel appliances, 9’ ceilings, hardwood floors, and in-unit laundry.

Designated as a historic landmark by the City of West Hollywood, El Palacio is steps away from the vibrant Sunset Strip.
