Investor Picks Up South Park Mixed-Use Residential Property for $5.5 Million

SAN DIEGO, CA - Colliers International San Diego Region announces the sale of a retail and residential mixed-use property totaling 12,398 square feet and located in San Diego’s South Park neighborhood for $5,519,000.

Bill Shrader, Joe Brady and Amy McNamara of Colliers International’s Urban Property Team represented the seller, UBS Properties, LP. Brady and McNamara alongside Colliers International’s Ryan Foley also represented the buyer, Midwest Investment Properties, LLC.

“San Diego’s urban neighborhoods continue to be a hotspot for investors,” said Shrader. “This property has been under the same family ownership for more than 70 years and provided a rare opportunity to acquire a well-located property that is home to some of San Diego’s best-known culinary and craft beer experiences.”

The property includes nine residential units and three retail spaces. The retail spaces are currently occupied by Hamilton’s Tavern, South Park Brewing Co. and KINDRED, all of which will remain open under the new ownership. The 14,447-square foot parcel is located at 3006-3020 Beech Street, San Diego, CA.
