ROCHESTER, NY - Home Properties, Inc. announced the "topping out" of its newest apartment community, Eleven55 Ripley, now the tallest building in downtown Silver Spring, MD. Home Properties hosted general contractor James G. Davis Construction Corporation and all subcontractors for the celebration, marking the completion of concrete pouring operations at Eleven55 Ripley's two buildings: a sleek, 21-story apartment tower, and a smaller, five-story building.
"While we're celebrating that last level of concrete being poured, we're also looking forward to transforming these impressive structures into homes for the Ripley District neighborhood," said Ruth Hoang , Director of Development, Home Properties. Eleven55 Ripley's 21-story apartment tower offers panoramic views of Silver Spring and Metro D.C. The tower will house flats in a variety of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans. On the street level of the tower, residents may choose to live in three-story, urban row houses, some with private roof-top terraces. Eleven55 Ripley's smaller, five-story building offers 28, loft-style apartments with 10-foot ceilings. The two buildings will add a total of 379 premier apartments for rent in the heart of downtown Silver Spring, MD.
Residents of Eleven55 Ripley will have access to the tower's roof-top outdoor pool, sundeck, lounge, and dining and grilling area. The top floor of the tower will feature a 3,000 square foot clubroom, complete with skyline views, a lounge, a catering kitchen with refrigerator and warming ovens, a business center with computers, and game room with all the latest video gaming systems. Other floors offer a state-of-the-art theatre, two-story fitness center with yoga studio, and conference room. Outside the tower is a public "pocket park" with art commemorating the work of Silver Spring environmentalist Rachel Carson .
