Chance Partners Wins Student Housing Award

ATLANTA, GA - Chance Partners, one of the nation's foremost developers of luxury student housing communities, is the proud recipient of a Student Housing Business "Innovator" award for the "Best New Boutique Development."  The Innovator award was bestowed upon Chance for their "Paces" community, located in Tallahassee, FL., during Student Housing Business's second annual awards show at this year's Interface Conference.

The Innovator Awards recognize the student housing industry's most original and successful developers, owners, architects and managers.

Offering students best-in-class features and finishes, coupled with an unparalleled location, Paces has become the new model for off-campus student housing.  "Students want to live near campus in a great community, and with very few large parcels of land available within walking distance to most campuses, the Paces model allows us to offer students a class-A type product while still building an institutional sized portfolio," said Judd Bobilin, President & CEO of Chance Partners.  "We're truly honored to be recognized by Student Housing Business Magazine, its voting panel and the residents that have helped us realize 100% occupancy each year."

Noted for its creative re-use of land, its integration of architecture taken from the surrounding neighborhood and its appeal that fits the student demand, Paces, which is located less than 2 blocks from the Florida State University campus, "represents Tallahassee's first, newest and best luxury infill student townhome community," said Brian Malone of Chance Partners.  "Chance Partners has a history of innovation and a commitment to our residents; we look forward to providing those residents -- and residents at other select university markets across the country -- with great living communities for many years to come," Malone added.

With finishes typically reserved for high-end, single family homes, residences at Paces feature hardwood-style flooring, imported granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, designer fixtures and contemporary lighting.  Residences also offer expansive living spaces, large bedrooms with huge closets and private baths, private on-site parking and rooftop balconies that offer sweeping views of campus and the football stadium.

Reese-Vanderbilt was the architect on Paces.  Hathaway Construction was the general contractor.

Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, Chance Partners is one of the southeast's premier developers of private, off-campus, and student housing communities. Focused on maximizing value while providing the very best living experience for its residents, Chance Partners has a history of developing award-winning, fully leased communities.  Principals of Chance have developed more than 6,000 units and over 250,000 square feet of urban focused retail space, with an aggregate gross square footage of more than 8 million square feet.
