INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Annex Group, a leading impact housing developer that creates affordable, workforce, student and market-rate housing communities, announces today it is actively seeking public-private partnerships (P3) in order to create more housing for students at colleges and universities around the country. The Annex Group, which has long been a developer of student housing communities, is looking to create meaningful relationships with colleges and universities that will help spur P3 housing opportunities. To lead the effort, the company recently hired Jason Taylor as Managing Partner, Public-Private Partnerships.
“Getting into P3 housing aligns with our company’s impact-focused mission,” said Kyle Bach, CEO of The Annex Group. “We are always looking for opportunities to enter new states and new markets if there is a considerable need for rental housing there. As the trend of increased enrollment continues for many of our nation’s colleges and universities, we know there will be an increased housing need, and we’re looking forward to helping fill it.”
The Annex Group has made its mark on the student housing industry with nearly 3,000 beds on or near college and university campuses being owned and/or operated by the company. The Annex Group is now seeking its first P3 housing opportunity.
