Move-Ins Begin at Park 12 Luxury Apartments in San Diego's East Village

SAN DIEGO, CA – Park 12, the highly anticipated luxury apartment and retail community – located immediately across the street from Petco Park, overlooking the stadium and San Diego Bay – has begun move-ins at its 37-story tower. Featuring 371 luxury apartments, the tower is the first building in the community – comprised of one high-rise and three mid-rise buildings – to welcome residents.

Owned and operated by Greystar Real Estate Partners, LLC – a global leader in the investment, development and management of rental housing properties – Park 12 offers studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans – as well as penthouse suites – with square footage spanning from 518 to 2,824 square feet. Rents start at $1,705.

Completion of the iconic mixed-use project is slated for Fall 2018, with move-ins planned for the remaining one six- and two seven-story midrise buildings – featuring an additional 347 residential units, for a total of 718 rental homes. Eighty apartments have been leased to-date.

According to Jerry Brand, senior managing director of west coast development for Greystar, the resort style community appeals to a wide range of tenants, with a variety of floor plans and price points to meet their unique needs and lifestyles.

“When we set out to build Park 12, our goal was to create a ‘city of villages,’ where residents of all ages, income levels and backgrounds could come together,” said Brand. “We’re seeing that vison come to life as we welcome our first residents into the tower, and we’re excited to build on that community as Park 12 progresses.”

The property’s four buildings are connected by a pair of above-the-street bridges, allowing residents to easily move to and from amenity decks in the separate buildings, evoking the open-space feel of New York's acclaimed High Line Park. The project includes 45,000 square feet of ground level retail space.

The community is anchored by an expansive semicircular public plaza at 10th and Park, where retail venues and restaurants will line the public space. A dramatic cascading staircase – inspired by Rome’s famed Spanish Steps – welcoming residents and guests at the property’s Imperial Avenue and Park Plaza entrance.

Residents will enjoy an amenity rich lifestyle, with access to 14 separate common areas that include two dog runs; a dog washing station; two pools, sundeck and spa; indoor/outdoor fitness center; underground gated parking with 1,216 spaces; a clubhouse with kitchen; resident lounge; multiple rooftop terraces with outdoor seating, fire pits, outdoor kitchen and grilling areas; and a sports lounge/game room.

The apartment homes – with views into Petco Park and surrounding downtown areas, including the San Diego Bay and Coronado – are designed to condominium standards, and feature a classic, modern feel, plank flooring, private patios or balconies, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, polished chrome fixtures and full-size washer/dryers.

The project architect is Carrier Johnson + Culture. For more information, visit livepark12.com.
