Metropica Mixed-Use Community Unveils New Renderings for its First Residential Tower

SUNRISE, FL– Metropica, one of the nation’s largest under-construction mixed-use communities, recently released new renderings of its first residential tower: Metropica One.  Showcasing some of the properties’ contemporary design elements and spectacular views, the renderings give a fresh glimpse into the residential tower, which will be fully completed and ready for move in by December of this year.

The exterior rendering shows a sneak peek of life at Metropica One from the outside looking in, featuring a view of the development’s west facing wall and balconies. The interior rendering showcases one of the model units from The Bridge line - a 1,582 square foot unit with two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms and a den - featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and a sleek staircase.

Metropica One encompasses 263 tropically-inspired residences, ranging from 740 to 2,100 square feet, which are designed by an award-winning team of architects and designers including YOO Design Studio, Oppenheim Architecture, CI Design and EDSA.

Priced from the mid $400s and going up to $1.4 million for penthouses, the residences offer a selection of finishes including minimal and nature palette themes and feature complete kitchens with stainless steel appliances, open floorplans, and spacious private balconies that deliver a true indoor/outdoor lifestyle with breathtaking views.  European style cabinetry, imported porcelain tile floors, dedicated bathrooms for each bedroom and Hansgrohe fixtures are among some of the other premium components found in every home.

Residents will have access to a resort-inspired collection of amenities and services exclusive to the building such as a salt water pool with pool-side cabanas and shaded lounge areas, a fully-equipped 24-hour fitness center, massage therapy rooms, steam room and sauna, full-size tennis courts, mini soccer fields and facilities for yoga classes and cross-training. Other coveted features include a private clubroom, a wide-screen private screening room, a coffee lounge, an indoor game room, kid’s room, and other exclusive entertainment spaces.

Located at 1800 NW 136th Avenue in Sunrise, Metropica One is part of the larger Metropica community, a sustainably-designed 65-acre, $1.5 billion urban high street development that will transform the West Broward corridor with approximately 4 million square feet of space consisting of: 2,250 residential condominiums, as well as apartments; prime shopping and dining experiences; 650,000 square feet of contemporary, class A office space; boutique hotels; lush green spaces including a Central Park and other public spaces dedicated to the arts.

The mixed-use development’s experiential lifestyle center recently announced that it has secured its newest tenant, the celebrity-founded dance studio, Dance With Me. The studio joins an impressive and diverse mix of retailers offering sophisticated retail shopping and dining experiences including the highly anticipated anchor tenant iPic Theaters, as well as Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, City Works Eatery, Sparkles, Genuine Pizza (formerly Harry’s Pizzeria), Sugarboo & Co., Cru Wine Bar, Noire the Nail Bar, and Kendra Scott Jewelry.  The list continues to grow with a number of tenants soon to be announced in the entertainment, dining, fashion and home categories. Metropica at Sunrise first phase of the retail component is scheduled to break ground in the third quarter of this year and will consist of 280,000 square feet of retail and entertainment space.

The residential component of the development is exclusively being sold by ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, and is already 65 percent sold. For further information visit www.livemetropica.com or contact the sales office at 954-228-6277.
