Lantower Residential Acquires 451-Unit Seneca at Cypress Creek Apartments in North Tampa

TAMPA, FL - Today, Dallas-based Lantower Residential announces the acquisition of Seneca at Cypress Creek, a 451-unit community in the Lutz/Wesley Chapel submarket of Tampa, Florida. The property, built in 2010 by Greystar Real Estate Partners, features modern, one-, two-, and three- bedroom floorplans including wine racks, black or stainless-steel appliance packages, attached garages, kitchen islands, and screen-in lanais. Residents enjoy luxury community amenities including 3 resort-style pools, a 10,000 square foot renovated clubhouse including new fitness and business centers, recreational parks with walking trails, cyber café, and an entertainment room with billiards.

The property sits at 1810 Sweetbroom Circle near the convergence of Interstate 75 and SR 54/56, providing quick access to the major employment centers of Tampa. The area is home to major retailers and one of the most desirable public school districts in Tampa. Residents of Seneca at Cypress Creek enjoy over 1 million square feet of retail as Tampa Premium Outlets, Cypress Creek Town Center, and The Shoppes at New Tampa are all within minutes of the community.

“The acquisition of Seneca at Cypress Creek enables Lantower Residential to expand its current Tampa position with a large Class A institutional-quality asset in one of the strongest submarkets in Tampa. Outstanding public schools, combined with the growth of the Lutz/Wesley Chapel submarket and quick interstate access, makes Seneca at Cypress Creek a great addition to our Florida portfolio,” Lantower Residential COO Philippe Lapointe said in prepared remarks.

Upon acquisition of Seneca at Cypress Creek, Lantower Residential’s portfolio encompasses 14 multi-family properties consisting of 4,600 residential units.
