Vestcor Companies Breaks Ground on Affordable Senior Apartment Community in Jacksonville, Florida

JACKSONVILLE, FL - Vestcor broke ground on Mary Eaves, an 80-unit affordable senior community located at 1250 16th Street West in Jacksonville. 

Amenities will include a fitness center, internet café, hair salon, activity room with kitchen, movie room and living room with fireplace. In addition, there will be an outdoor garden, a courtyard pavilion with grills and a dog park. The one and two bedroom units will include a living and dining area, fully equipped kitchen, and a washer and dryer.

SunTrust, Boston Financial, Jacksonville Housing Finance Authority and Florida Housing Finance Corporation provided the financing to make this community possible.

PQH Architects Group, Inc. and Summit Contracting Group, Inc. are architect and general contractor for the development. Construction is expected to be completed in the summer of 2017.
