REVA Development Partners Begins Pre-leasing at Residences of Orland Park Crossing

CHICAGO, IL - Chicago-based REVA Development Partners today announced the start of pre-leasing at the Residences of Orland Park Crossing, a new luxury rental community currently under construction in downtown south-suburban Orland Park, Ill. The sales center, now open in the recently-completed clubhouse, is currently taking appointments for community tours.

According to REVA, the 231-unit Residences of Orland Park Crossing is only the second luxury rental community to be built in Orland Park in several decades. “We had a very robust response when we opened our VIP list last month as more than 200 people signed up within two months,” said Matt Nix, principal of REVA Development Partners. “The walkable, transit-oriented location of the property has been a strong driver of demand for the Residences of Orland Park Crossing,” he continued, underscoring the significance of the newly constructed pedestrian bridge connecting the development’s residents with the nearby 143rd Street Metra station.

Located at 143rd Street and LaGrange Road, the community is adjacent to the Orland Park Crossing retail center and across the street from Orland Park’s Main Street Triangle development. It is part of a large-scale public-private collaboration with residential and retail partners that includes plans for restaurants as well as a 120,000-square-foot University of Chicago medical office facility just across the street.

The Residences of Orland Park Crossing also boasts proximity to the Orland Park Crossing lifestyle center, which was built in 2006 and includes 75,000-square-feet of space featuring national retailers such as Ann Taylor, Soma and White House Black Market, as well as restaurants such as PF Changs, Granite City Brewery, Panera Bread and Starbucks. The nearby Mariano’s Fresh Market, which opened in January 2016, further adds to the walkable shopping and dining experience available to renters at the Residences of Orland Park Crossing.

Upon completion, the community will feature four mid-rise elevator buildings, each offering 42 apartment flats featuring one-bedroom/one-bath, one-bedroom-plus-den/one-bath and two-bedroom/two-bath options. The Residences of Orland Park Crossing will also include 38 two-story rowhomes, each with three bedrooms and 2½ baths; and 25 three-story townhomes offering two- and three-bedroom floor plans, each with 2½ baths. Units will range in size from approximately 700 to 1,370 square feet for apartment flats and 1,500 to 2,000 square feet for the rowhomes and townhomes. Residents of the apartment flats will have access to attached garage parking, while an attached, two-car garage comes with each townhome and rowhome. First move-ins for rowhomes are expected in March, while the first apartment and townhome buildings are estimated to deliver later in the spring.

“We expect the combination of townhomes, rowhomes and apartment flats to attract a diverse array of renters from young professionals to transferees and empty-nesters,” said Nix. “The high-end, condo-quality finishes combined with the luxury amenities synonymous with living in a REVA development make this a highly desirable rental community,” he continued.

Amenities will include an approximately 7,000-square-foot clubhouse with a fitness center, gaming/theater room, club room, demonstration kitchen, internet cafe and management offices. Residents will also enjoy an outdoor swimming pool, fire pit, ample patio seating, outdoor kitchen, bocce ball court, and landscape seating areas with walking paths.

“In addition to the wide variety of on-site amenities, renters at the Residences of Orland Park Crossing will have easy access to local shopping and dining as well as transit to downtown Chicago,” Nix noted as he emphasized the community’s prime location. “After such a long time without a comparable rental community in Orland Park, we’re really excited to bring luxury living to area renters,” he added.

The sales center is open from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday (appointment recommended) and, by appointment only Sunday/Monday. Make an appointment to tour the community by calling (708) 570-1622.

The 12.5-acre rental community is being built in partnership with Wanxiang America Real Estate Group while leasing and property management for the Residences of Orland Park Crossing is being overseen by Kinzie Property Management.
