TCA Architects Successfully Raised Over $110,690 to Benefit Habitat for Humanity of Orange County Through Their Sold Out Charity Golf Tournament

IRVINE, CA - TCA Architects, a full-service architecture firm noted as a leader in the development of progressive multifamily and mixed-use urban residential designs, hosted their 15th Annual Charity Golf Tournament benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Orange County. The sold out event has now successfully raised over a million dollars for the non-profit since its inception

The key events throughout the day included a $10,000 putting contest, lunch hosted by TK Burgers prior to teeing off, and a cocktail and buffet awards reception to conclude the day. The course was filled with games and chances to win great prizes from this year’s automotive sponsor, Hyundai Motor America, including a 2015 Hyundai Genesis, Adidas Golf shopping spree, and TaylorMade golf products. Golfers took home free polo shirts from the Travis Mathew ice cream truck, played games for prizes at the Happy Gilmore tent along with taking silly character photos, and competed in a Hole-in-One contest for a $10,000 Hawaii Trip.

During the reception, the winning golfers and their scores were revealed, on course prizes were distributed, and a silent auction rounded out the evening. All proceeds from the event will be used to build and repair affordable homes for low income families in the communities of Westminster, Cypress, Anaheim, and Fullerton.

“We are very proud to have hosted another successful tournament benefitting such a worthy cause and are grateful for the continued support of our sponsors year after year” said Aram Chahbazian, TCA Architect’s President and Managing Partner.  “Being that TCA Architects specializes in the design and construction of multifamily residential communities, partnering with Habitat for Humanity was a natural fit for us. Our annual charity golf tournament allows us to engage the community in our efforts to promote the organization’s core values through an event that is both enjoyable and well attended each year.”

In addition to hosting the Charity Golf Tournament for over a decade, employees from TCA Architects have also participated in the construction of Habitat homes in the Orange County community. “TCA Architects has gone above and beyond in their involvement with Habitat for Humanity in our fourteen years of partnership,” said Sharon Ellis, President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Orange County. “We are grateful for the firms’ dedication to not only hosting such a great event but for volunteering their time and services to the design and construction of Habitat homes.”
