Maxus Properties First Multifamily Location to Offer KCP&L Clean Charge Network Charging Stations

NORTH KANSAS CITY, MO – June 30, 2015  Maxus Properties is one of the first companies in the Kansas City area to offer car charging stations through the KCP&L Clean Charge Network for electric and hybrid cars. These easy to use charging stations have been installed at Province of Briarcliff, a luxury apartment community in the Northland.  Car charging stations are just one of many efforts Maxus is implementing to provide sustainable apartment living to our residents. The variety of eco-friendly amenities will not only save residents money but also helps to protect our environment.

Some examples of the type of energy efficiencies you will find at Province of Briarcliff include:

Kitchen faucet aerators (1.5 gpm) can save approximately 40% on annual water bills

Bath aerators (1.5 gpm) can save up to $40 annually on water bills

Energy efficient shower heads can save approximately 40% on annual hot water bills (1.5 gpm energy efficient shower head)

Free use of the electric car charging stations that can charge any electric vehicle to reduce carbon emissions from gasoline
