Toledo’s New Edge 1120 Student Housing Community Showcases Modern Style, Upscale Amenities while Serving University of Toledo Students

TOLEDO, OH - Toledo’s newest student housing community, Edge 1120, will provide University of Toledo students easy access to campus and offer the best in contemporary living designed with today’s student in mind when it opens in mid-August.

It will offer housing to more than 590 students and feature 208 units. It opens at a time when the university is trying to grow enrollment and is helping transform the neighborhood around North Westwood Avenue and Dorr Street into a livable community and is an extension of the Dorr Street streetscape improvements. The property’s easy access to campus and local transportation also mean it is well-suited for international students or those who don’t want to trouble with a car.

“Edge 1120’s location right across the street from campus is perfect because students are near their classes,” said General Manager Jennifer Mann. “Our location isn’t the only feature we have to offer. Our state-of-the–art technology and study areas will provide residents with tools they can use to succeed in their studies.”

The community features group study areas, private study nooks, study lounges, a 24-hour business center, a conference room for group projects and a computer area with both PC and iMac computers. Other amenities promote healthy living, such as the community’s custom group fitness classroom with Fitness on Demand, heated pool, outdoor volleyball court and fitness area. An adjacent greenway will take residents to campus and be paved for walking, biking and rollerblading.

Edge 1120 offers residents a choice of floor plans that ranges from one-bedroom units all the way up to four-bedroom, 4-1/2 bathroom townhomes. Units come fully furnished and include complimentary cable with premium channel listings, wood-style flooring, granite countertops and washer/dryer in each apartment home.

The NRP Group is the developer and the construction team behind Edge 1120 while Asset Campus Housing manages the property. Both companies have years of experience in developing and managing student housing communities across the nation.
