Precision Fire Systems Receives LandSouth Construction’s Subcontractor of the Quarter Award

JACKSONVILLE, FL - LandSouth Construction has announced Precision Fire Systems as “Subcontractor of the Quarter.” The award winning Jacksonville, Fla. based general contractor identifies subcontractors for going the extra mile to provide the expertise, knowledge and experience desired in a construction partner.

Precision Fire Systems is working with LandSouth on two multifamily communities, Integra Village in Sanford, Fla. and Integra Cove near SeaWorld in Orlando, Fla.

“They consistently have gone above and beyond as it relates to meeting our schedule and their scope of work. They have approached the Integra Cove project with experience and confidence to meet our expectations,” said LandSouth project manager Mario Ibanez

The company started in 2013. Their team of owners, President Skip Bateman and vice presidents Brad Jenkins and Kip Pederson, have been working together in the fire sprinkler industry for 17 years.

"Precision Fire Systems has done a great job communicating with us to ensure that everyone is on the same page. They have done a phenomenal job on Integra Village, which is exactly what we expected," said project manager Rob Vergnolle.

The company provides automatic sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial and retail buildings, including apartments, automobile dealerships, office buildings, institutional buildings and modular structures.

“Collectively, we have managed, designed and constructed hundreds of multifamily, hotel, commercial and industrial fire sprinkler installations. We currently have 10 multifamily: five hotels, three distribution warehouses and various other projects in process or recently completed,” Bateman said.

LandSouth Construction is currently working on projects throughout the Southeast including apartments in Jacksonville, Oviedo, Sanford, Delray Beach and Orlando Fla., Collegedale, Tenn. and senior housing in Bonita Springs, Fla. In its 17 year history, LandSouth Construction has completed more than 10,000 multifamily units, including apartments, senior living, condominiums, and townhomes.

“It feels like a team effort working with LandSouth Construction,” noted Bateman. “We participated in preconstruction value engineering to assure the scope of work and bids would be their most competitive. The experience moved on to project managers who bought out the jobs and resolved pending scope issues. LandSouth has demonstrated all of the qualities a subcontractor looks for in a general contractor.”

LandSouth is committed to innovation in the construction process, taking a fresh approach to a design challenge, strengthening client and partner communications, empowering superintendents to make key decisions in real time and using new products and materials to promote energy efficiency.
