Huffines Communities Celebrates The Grand Opening of The Second Phase of Hebron 121 Station

DALLAS, TX - Developer Huffines Communities was joined by Lewisville City Director Nika Reinecke, Denton County Transit Authority’s (DCTA) Charles Emery, Kristina Brevard and Adrienne Hamilton and other local dignitaries on May 22, 2014 at a ceremony celebrating the grand opening of the second phase of its master planned community, “Hebron 121 Station.” Construction on Phase Two began in January 2013, and includes an additional 444 one- and two-bedroom apartments and luxurious recreational amenities.

“We’re excited to see the expansion and new construction in one of Lewisville’s premier developments,” said Mayor Dean Ueckert who attended the event. “As we expected, there is great demand for this resort-type lifestyle with The Denton County Transit Authority (DCTA) A-Train commuter rail nearby to connect to various employment centers through the DFW region as well as to University of North Texas and Texas Woman’s University.”

With Phase One fully leased, Hebron 121 Station debuts its brand new 10,000 square-foot clubhouse with resort-style amenities, including a sand beach, 236,000-gallon pool with swim up bar, 86 foot-wide grotto waterfall, cool plunge, eight cabanas and a 900 square-foot outdoor pavilion. The club exterior features Southern coastal-style architecture, a 10,000 square-foot wrap-around porch and balcony. The pool’s outdoor pavilion features lounge seating, big screen TV and a natural gas barbecue grill with granite countertop. The interior of the club house includes a full-service fitness center on its second level with strength, cardio and free weight equipment, a soft floor aerobic room and a game room with a pool table. Two 90 inch TVs are featured in the club’s media room with wifi throughout.

“Hebron 121 Station’s resort lifestyle has attracted singles, couples and even a few retirees since it first opened in 2011,” said Huffines. “Phase One was completely leased in nine months, and we have continued to see consistently strong leasing activity. Residents are moving in as soon as new apartments are delivered and we expect construction in Phase Two to be complete by the end of summer 2014.”

As Denton County’s first transit-oriented development, Hebron 121 Station is a 90-acre multi-phase community adjacent to the new DCTA Hebron rail and bus station near Vista Ridge Mall at the intersection of Interstate-35E and State Highway 121 in Lewisville. The City of Lewisville is constructing a new bridge to I-35 to make access to Hebron Station 121 even easier.

With the completion of Phase Two, the $300,000,000 development now includes 678 completed multifamily units, of what will eventually be 1500 units, with office and retail space. The entire project includes architectural influences from resorts in Coastal U.S. locales as well as Tuscany and the West Indies.

Phillip Huffines, who co-owns Huffines Communities with his brother, Donald Huffines, said, “Our goal for the development of Hebron 121 Station was to offer  resort-style living in the middle of the Metroplex. Now all the residents can enjoy each of the amenities Hebron 121 Station has to offer.”

Strategic partners with Huffines Communities in the design, development, and management of Hebron 121 Station include Humphreys and Partners; general contractor, CF Jordan Construction and Pinnacle Property Management.
