Hunt Companies Completes Construction of 359-Unit Luxury Residential Tower in Downtown Houston

HOUSTON, TX - Hunt Companies announced the completion of Catalyst Houston, the luxury high-rise residential development in Downtown Houston. Hunt, along with co-developer Marquette Companies, funds managed by equity partner Ares Management, L.P., as well as Houston-based architect and lead designer, Ziegler Cooper Architects, celebrates the addition of 359 residential units in the central business district of Houston.

Located on a full city block bordered by Texas Avenue, Austin Street, Prairie Street and La Branch Street, the Catalyst Houston tower climbs 28 stories. Residents will find themselves within walking distance to major employment centers, like the Hess and Hines towers, as well as attractions such as Minute Maid Park, Discovery Green, Main Street and the Toyota Center.

Catalyst Houston consists of 359 residential units, structured parking for 550 vehicles, as well as 7,400 square feet of ground-floor retail space which includes the new home of a Houston institution, Irma’s Restaurant. Residents have access to conveniences such as a 24-hour door staff, state-of-the-art fitness center, cybercafé, multi-purpose club room with demonstration kitchen, and a guest suite.

Additionally, outdoor entertainment features include a rooftop terraced garden and sundeck with fire pit and seating areas, outdoor kitchen and barbecue stations, a “yoga fusion” lawn, a resort-style pool, dog park, and a penthouse Ballpark Club, where residents can watch Houston Astros home games.
