Wood Partners Announces Groundbreaking of 230-Unit Alta Tech Ridge Luxury Apartments in Austin

AUSTIN, TX - Wood Partners, a national leader in real estate development and acquisition, announced the groundbreaking of their new Austin, Texas development, Alta Tech Ridge. The 230-unit community will be located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Parmer Lane and Dessau Road.

Alta at Tech Ridge is well-positioned to benefit from the high concentration of both national and international employers. As of 2016, the area within a three-mile radius of the property boasts close to 50,000 daytime employees, and the population is expected to continue to increase. Alta at Tech Ridge is a short drive from North Austin's premier mixed-use destinations, such as Tech Ridge Center and Stonehill Town Center, which provides residents with plentiful shopping and dining destinations.

"Wood Partners recognized the need for a premier community to provide housing for the influx of people moving to Austin to work in this expanding market," said Bart Barrett, development director for Wood Partners. "We aim to keep the culture and vibe that Austin exudes while giving residents an enhanced living experience."

Alta at Tech Ridge will provide state-of-the-art amenities, including fitness center, conference center, outdoor kitchen, dog park and resort-style pool and courtyard. All of the common areas will include wireless connectivity and will feature the latest in audio/visual technology.

The project will begin pre-leasing in the spring of 2018 and is estimated to open in summer 2018.
