Stoneleigh Companies Completes 214-Unit Adaptive Reuse Project in Arlington Heights, Illinois

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL - Stoneleigh Companies announces the completion of their adaptive reuse project, One Arlington Apartments in Arlington Heights, IL. Formerly the site of a Hilton/Sheraton Hotel, One Arlington began renovations in June 2013 to redevelop the building into a contemporary 214 unit residential tower. This iconic landmark has taken suburban apartment living one step further defining itself as luxury lifestyle at its finest.

The 200,000 SF tower boasts “downtown” urban living situated in the idyllic northwest suburb of Arlington Heights. Modern, high-end technology and amenities compliment the lifestyle at One Arlington. Two floors are dedicated solely for the use of resident amenities. Starting with Club Arlington, amenities include a golf simulator, poker table, billiards, shuffleboard, and foosball table. Residents have the convenience of a 313 car underground parking garage complete with Electric/Hybrid car charging stations, in addition to dry cleaning drop off service, commercial washers and dryers, and expansive storage units for rent. For dog lovers One Arlington offers a Dog Wash and grooming room fully equipped with a dog wash basin and grooming table. A distinctive amenity to One Arlington Apartments is Studio One A, a music recording studio exclusive to residents including state-of-the-art recording equipment, drum kit, and keyboards. The amenities don’t stop there. The entire 13th floor is exclusively designated for resident amenities, including a penthouse fitness center with 12-foot, floor-to-ceiling glass walls overlooking the Arlington Racetrack featuring a Yoga/Pilates room, state-of-the-art Precor equipment and a TRX90 system. Adjacent to the fitness center is the Sky Lounge and party room with demonstration kitchen. Step outside the sliding glass doors and onto an outdoor sanctuary with panoramic views of the Chicago skyline. This 5,000 SF rooftop Skydeck is outfitted with relaxation zones, barbecue grills, oversized chaise lounges and fire pits.

One Arlington is unique when it comes to upgrades and indulgences. Studio, one and two bedroom apartments come standard with nine foot ceilings, carpet in bedrooms and laminate hardwood floors throughout the kitchen and living room, oversized tile bathrooms, GE stainless steel kitchen appliances, in-unit full size LG washer and dryer and walk in showers in many units. Additional modern features include 24 hour controlled access, USB outlets, granite/quartz countertops, floor-to-ceiling windows in every room, energy efficient LED lighting, expansive walk-in closets, and a Variable Refrigerant Flow HVAC system, which provides superior energy efficiency and individual temperature control. Most units include full size balconies with immaculate views of either the Arlington Racetrack or the Chicago skyline. Penthouse units located on the 11th and 12th floors are extensively upgraded with 11 foot ceilings, wood flooring and premium stainless steel appliances and lighting fixtures.

One Arlington is situated in Arlington Heights off IL Route 53 and Euclid Avenue within Arlington Downs PUD, the largest mixed-use project under way outside the City of Chicago. Arlington Downs, coming in 2016, will be the prevailing hot-spot for the Arlington Heights and surrounding suburban communities. Comprising world class apartments, 80,000 SF of class A destination retail, premium restaurants, a limited service Four Points by Sheraton hotel and an indoor waterpark; Arlington Downs will be the ideal destination for all locals and visitors alike. Additionally, One Arlington is located minutes away from downtown Arlington Heights, within walking distance of Arlington Park Metra, Aurelio’s Pizza, Starbucks and Ditka’s, and a quick 15 minute drive to O'Hare International Airport.
