NEW YORK, NY - Gotham West officially opens this month, offering 554 new luxury rental apartments in Hell's Kitchen. Developed by Gotham Organization, Inc, Gotham West presents comfortable and modern living on a grand scale, pairing impeccable residences with first-rate amenities and a 15,000-square-foot day-and-night market featuring eight artisan food purveyors and restaurants, in addition to a bike shop.
Located at 550 West 45th Street on the corner of 11th Avenue, Gotham West is a 32-story luxury rental building surrounded by 10,000 square feet of landscaped outdoor spaces. Designed by SLCE Architects, with interiors by SPAN Architecture and landscaping by Thomas Balsley Associates, residences boast elegant, creative finishes rarely, if ever, found in rental buildings. Sunshine pours through the 45-foot-long skylight, highlighting the custom Terrazzo flooring detailed with bronze inlay and walnut wood paneling throughout. The lounge is filled with exquisite treasures from local artisans, including Christopher Bailey, Crosby Street Studio, Anthony Moot and Uhuru Design, and houses a game room with screening area and handcrafted billiards table, a state-of-the-art business center, a library with a 26-foot reading table, and an art gallery with rotating exhibits.
For many residents, a favorite amenity will be the lounge's fully-equipped state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen, to be programmed with special cooking events from the Gotham West Market's resident chefs. A 26-foot dark marble communal table runs alongside the kitchen and fronts a sculptural fireplace hearth. Complimentary breakfast is served daily for residents.
