ATLANTA, GA  - The Rainmaker Group, the leading provider of revenue management and profit optimization solutions to the multifamily housing and gaming/hospitality industries, announces the addition of five new team members hired to help further enhance the company’s multifamily revenue management platform, LRO™.  The newest team members will engage various aspects of software development including engineering and support, infrastructure, automation and business intelligence.

The Rainmaker Group is honored to welcome Byron Pace, Avi Sistla, Drew Dennis, Jim MacGregor, and Christine Tinder to the family.

Byron Pace joined the team as senior support engineer. His responsibilities center on LRO software application support with a primary focus on pricing analysis. Leveraging his interest, skills and experience in process engineering and development of support tools, Pace is helping the team continue to improve overall support delivery. Prior to joining Rainmaker, Pace worked for Hewlett-Packard, Cox Communications, Fortent, Actimize and Knowlagent. His responsibilities with these companies included software quality assurance, product/application support, network event management engineering, as well as operations engineering and support. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of South Alabama and a MSM in Management from Georgia Tech as well as certificates in Six Sigma and ITIL.

Also on board as a support engineer is Avi Sistla who handles the back-end IT client support for LRO revenue management. He manages morning processes to ensure all scheduled IT tasks for the client communities are complete and the LRO pricing recommendations are available to on-site leasing professionals. Additionally, he works closely with end-users on understanding the scheduler administration tool, competitor data within the software, and integrations with property management systems. Sistla brings more than 10 years experience in desktop and application support services to his position with Rainmaker.  Formerly associate manager of desktop support for Autotrader.com, he managed a team of 10 analysts supporting more than 2,500 users nationwide. While at Conarc, Inc., Sistla managed all support issues for its iChannel document management system. He holds B.S. in Parks and Recreation Administration from North Georgia College.

Serving as Rainmaker’s data center operations manager, Drew Dennis is overseeing the infrastructure that powers the company’s offerings, including LRO software, and is also responsible for advancing the company’s telecommunications and disaster recovery strategies.  Dennis brings more than 18 years experience to his new job with Rainmaker, including a key role as manager of enterprise engineering for Beazer Homes.

Jim MacGregor, Rainmaker’s newest QA architect, is focusing his efforts on driving automated testing strategy for all the company’s products, particularly on the core automation infrastructure for LRO software. He will actuate the adoption of industry-leading automation and test-driven development as part of the company’s commitment to product quality and software best practices. He is a software veteran with more than 15 years experience with specific interests in product and software development for start-ups and small companies. MacGregor’s previous work experience includes various roles at Accusoft spanning from software-engineer-in-test to quality lead. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Georgia State University.  

Christine Tinder has also joined Rainmaker as BI architect to oversee the creation and implementation of business intelligence solutions for the company’s product suite. In driving her new role with Rainmaker, she leverages more than 10 years experience in business intelligence analytics including tenure at Incomm and a consultancy with Dell. Tinder holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Dongguk University and B.S. in MIS with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Alabama.
