In January of 2006, GMH Capital Partners purchased the formerly named Meadow Lake Apartments, a 376 unit garden-style apartment community located in Downingtown, PA. Tucked away on 43 acres, within the prestigious Chester County, the community consists of 228 one-bedroom, 112 two-bedroom and 36 three-bedroom units in 23 two-story buildings. In a short amount of time, GMH Capital Partners transformed the neglected and outdated property into a thriving, award winning community with modern amenities and stylish features.
GMH Capital Partners embarked on a $3.91mm renovation plan that consisted of installing new roofs, gutters, vinyl siding, exterior lighting, composite deck surfaces & railings, HVAC units, landscaping, drainage, paving, walkways and signage. To finish the transformation, GMH demolished the existing leasing and maintenance office and constructed a 3,500 SF luxury clubhouse, business center and state-of-the-art fitness facility.
