Crescent Launches CARES Program

Crescent Launches CARES Program
CONCORD, NC - Crescent Resources Multifamily Development Group's Circle at Concord Mills has added the CARES Program to enhance residents' living experiences and build a stronger sense of community. CARES, created by the non profit organization Apartment Life, provides communities with a team of people who design programs and plan events that strengthen relationships among residents. The team works with the apartment's management personnel to develop activities, such as social functions, community service projects and welcome visits to new residents.

"This is an excellent program that strengthens quality of life and creates enjoyable activities for residents in apartment communities," said Todd Farrell, president of Crescent Resources Multifamily Development Group. "CARES fits perfectly with our vision for Circle to provide a living environment focused on enriching social experiences."

A CARES Team typically commits to serving the apartment community for 70 hours a month, for at least 24 months, in exchange for free rent. Teams are recruited, trained and supervised by Apartment Life.

"CARES is a proven resident retention program that gives people more than a place to live - it gives them a community of friends and a place to belong," said Stan Dobbs, chief executive officer of Apartment Life. "We're thrilled to partner with Crescent and place a CARES team in their innovative Circle community."

Circle was inspired through extensive review and analysis of current industry trends and marketplace needs. The progressive Circle communities are places where neighbors connect and become stewards of the larger community. In addition to presenting a new breed of apartments that people are excited to live in, Circle developments are infused with the exceptional quality and customer-oriented features that have become Crescent hallmarks.
