Kettler Expands Management Arm
MCLEAN, VA - Kettler, one of greater Washington, D.C.'s largest real estate development and property management companies, today announced the East Coast expansion of its multifamily property management division and the addition of an apartment property now under management in the New York market.

With the announcement, Kettler now offers its full array of property management and marketing services to clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, marking the first time the company has expanded beyond its headquarters service area of Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia.

"We're known for providing property owners with enhanced reporting, accounting and operating systems that help them to reduce operating costs and increase revenue, which is especially important for their bottom line."

The expanded division's first property under management is Alexan Cityview, a 544-unit Class A apartment property currently under construction in Bayonne, N.J. Awarded the third-party property management contract following a national search by owner Trammell Crow Residential, Kettler Management will provide complete management, marketing and maintenance services, including leasing, marketing and operations.

Alexan Cityview is part of Trammell Crow Residential's national Alexan brand of unique, upscale apartment communities offered at competitive rates. In all Alexan communities, renters are offered a host of features, services and amenity packages uncommon to typical rental living.

"With this expansion, Kettler is no longer exclusively a Washington, D.C. area real estate company," Clare said. "We're building upon 30 years of industry experience and expertise serving our headquarter market and are now ready to meet the needs of multifamily property owners along the East Coast."

Kettler Management has expertise in the marketing and operations of lease-ups, renovations, repositions, tax credit, stabilized, market rate, high-end luxury, garden, high-rise, and mixed-use properties.

"One of the reasons we've been signing new property management accounts - and a way we differentiate Kettler Management from other management companies - is through innovative marketing programs that have solid track records of attracting and retaining residents such as the co-branding initiatives the company has established with well-known national companies including American Express, VIPdesk, Zipcar and Williams-Sonoma, Inc.," said Laurel Howell, Kettler VP of Business Development.

Marketing services include development of a customized integrated marketing plan for each property that addresses issues such as pre-leasing, site signage, advertising, public relations and online marketing with ongoing tracking of customer demographics and effectiveness for each market location. Howell said they have been successful with their marketing efforts by leveraging ideas from outside the multifamily industry and utilizing current technology as it applies to marketing and daily operations.

On the personnel side, Kettler's full time corporate trainer oversees a program that offers innovative new courses, ensuring the company remains at the leading edge of industry practices. Kettler provides convenient, standardized training for both office and maintenance personnel to ensure the highest level of customer service.
